STRINGSONG
A collection of pieces for the violin
(also editions for viola and cello)

The song genre with its short and uncomplicated form holds great power of expression for me. This collection contains nine songs with a wide range of emotions from the melancholic to the playful. It is my hope that these songs can speak to string players at many levels of proficiency. They are vehicles for “singing” on the instrument and for enjoying the simple pleasure of turning a melodic line.

Music available for Piano and Violin, Piano and Viola or Piano and Cello.
CD included with full orchestra as accompaniment. Each song can be heard with the solo violin and again with only orchestral accompaniment.
